According to newsday.com a number of drugs including marijuana, pain killers, and cocaine are missing from the evidence room of the Southhampton, NY police department. It is reported that the current chief of police of this rather shady department is conducting his own audit. Sure he is. One could assume that means shredding paperwork of any other missing items. Turns out an officer in the department is addicted to painkillers so this may be their first suspect. Hmm maybe its him, or maybe the janitors, or one of the supervisors. I doubt they will seriously find out who the culprit is. They will act as if there is a continued investigation until media stops covering them.
Tisk tisk... but not surprised.
